Sessional lecturing position in US History, semester 2, 2013
The History program at the University of Melbourne is seeking a temporary lecturer (to be employed on a sessional basis) to coordinate the 2nd year subject US History to 1941: Claiming Freedom in second semester 2013. The subject examines United States history from 1776 to 1941, emphasising themes of slavery and freedom, expansion and growth, and the emergence of mass society. The person appointed would deliver twelve 90-minute lectures over the semester and take some tutorials in the subject.
